In this module "Introductory Arabic 1" you will learn how to master the Arabic alphabet, how to pronounce the Arabic letters and to read a voweled Arabic text.
Course syllabus
- The Arabic alphabeth
- Combination of letters
- Vowels (harakat)
- Nunation (tanwin)
- Long vowels
- Silent letters (sukun)
- Soft consonants
- Hamza
- Double letters (shadda)
The course will use "Gateway to Arabic 1". Students can buy a copy at Arabisk Sprogcenter right before the first class (payment via MobilePay). Price of the book is 100 DKK.
